To many people, superhero movies are just that: super. The action, the explosions, the suits, superpowers and stunts. These words and many more can best summarize Iron Man 3.

In the final installment of the Iron Man movies, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) tries to cope between being Iron Man and his regular life and relationship with Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow). All is shaken when random terrorist attacks lead by a mysterious man known only as the Mandarin start threatening the world’s safety. Tony must suit up again to protect not only the world, but also what is most important to him: Pepper. The director is Shane Black and you can expect lots of action, thrill and laughs (mostly Tony’s witty jokes).

Robert Downey Jr. does an excellent job at playing the role of Iron Man, he is able to be both serious and funny. One scene  that is memorable is when missiles are being launched at Tony’s house by the Mandarin. Tony puts Pepper into one of his Iron Man suits to protect her from falling rubble and explosions. This scene stands out because it shows how Tony is a true hero and how he wants to save Pepper before himself. Also, it was funny to watch Pepper try to maneuver around in the Iron Man suit.

Shane Black was able to bring yet another superhero to life in all of the Iron Man movies. With funny dialogue, catchy rock music and tons of action that gets the heart racing.

Like most new movies in theatres, Iron Man 3 is in 3D. This really helped bring the movie to life, making the action more real and big.

Lastly, is this a movie worth seeing? Yes. Even if you have never seen any of the Iron Man movies, I would definitely recommend  seeing this one. It will leave you thinking: “ Okay, now I have to go watch the first two!”
